Shop

The Shadow XMaxx Tree is a car that could be obtained by completing the All Thru The Night achievement, which required racing 300 times in a session with a holiday car during the 2012 Xmaxx Event, or by completing the It's Back!!! achievement, which required completing 500 races with a holiday car during the 2018 Xmaxx Event. It could also be obtained by purchasing the Xmaxx Sale bundle.

Trivia[]

  • It is one of two cars that appear as one color even when painted, with the other being the Maxx'd-Out Shadow Tree.
  • With only 28 players obtaining this car during the 2012 Xmaxx Event, it was the rarest event car of all time before its re-release in 2018. Because of this it has a notorious association with veterans as the car would come to be recognized as a long-term status symbol of exclusivity on the website.
    • This car would blend in with black backgrounds of the news comments and the 1st place car GUI on the racetrack before v3.
  • Vielle was the first person to obtain this car.
  • This car was designed by the Corndog. Source here.
  • Despite the admins saying that the car would never return after the 2012 Xmaxx Event, it was re-released multiple times.
  • Nightmare, rae, Eliserss, and Gloryy were awarded this car in 2022 for helping the admins test test Nitro Math.
  • While this car is a variant of the XMaxx Tree Racer, it still uses the original design of that car rather than its 2.0 redesign.
  • Prior to Season 30, five polls were taken on separate YouTubers' channels after Travis asked them to decide which car to bring back. This car was the winner of one of the polls; therefore, it was meant to be a finalist. Ultimately, this did not occur, as according to Travis, many players email Support upon seeing this car, thinking that its existence is a bug.
    • This implied that the car would never be re-released. However, like with after the 2012 event, this turned out to be false.
